I was heavily addicted to drugs and alcohol for about ten years after God delivered me in July 2012. Praise God, I have been clean and sober ever since. But I was tested reactive for hepatitis C in 2012. In 2013, I was again tested and found to be still reactive with the virus.
Over this past year, I began listening to Joseph Prince and attending Grace Revolution Church in Dallas. I also began partaking of the Holy Communion at home. A couple on the prayer team prayed for healing for me one Sunday after church, and I continued to stand in Jesus’ finished work whenever I took the Communion.
In August, I went to see an infectious diseases specialist to do blood work in order to find out what genotype of hepatitis C I had so they would know which medication to prescribe for me. A few weeks later, I received a call from the doctor telling me that I was a rare individual because I had developed antibodies against the virus and am immune to it. She told me that my body had fought the virus off and I don’t need any treatments.
Praise Jesus! All glory to Him! As Jesus is, so am I in this world. As He doesn’t have hepatitis C in His blood, neither do I!
What is so neat about this is I have not been spending as much time as I would have liked to. I felt like I had fallen short this year as a Christian. I haven’t even been to church that much in the past six months. But I realized that there is nothing I can do to earn my healing or right standing with the Father. The fact that I have felt less spiritual over the past six months but was still healed is a powerful testament to the radical grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
On top of that, I have not gotten sick with a cold or anything else all year. Normally, I get sick at least three to four times during the winter months. Every time I felt like I was starting to get sick, I would curse the illness at its roots out loud and claim Jesus’ finished work over my body. I would wake up the next morning healed and refreshed! Praise God!
Thank you so much, Pastor Prince, for your amazing message of God’s grace, and the power of Jesus’ finished work and His agape love for us. Your ministry truly is a breath of fresh air and has changed my life. I look forward to seeing you when you come to Dallas in November!
