A couple of years ago, my mother suffered a stroke that left her bedbound. As my siblings are in different parts of the world, we had no choice but to put her in a nursing home in Nigeria.
It broke my heart, and I cried every day. Things got to a head when I received pictures of my mother with bed sores. She was also diagnosed with dementia.
I broke down mentally and emotionally because I am a qualified nurse, but I could not care for my own mother. I knew I could not fight this battle with human effort, so I began to listen to Pastor Prince’s messages, and I would partake of the holy Communion on behalf of my mother, declaring wholeness to her body.
During that time, I tuned in to New Creation Church Online, and one of the pastors, Pastor Lian, declared total healing over every kind of memory loss. When I heard that, I fell to my knees in tears knowing that Jesus wanted me to know I was loved.
The following day on a video call, my mum smiled when prior to this, she had been paralyzed on the left side of her face. Within a week, she was visibly using her right hand, in which the doctors said there was very little power. The doctors also reversed the diagnosis of dementia, and they said the strength in her left hand is greatly improving.
Every day my mother gets better and better. No man could have done this; it is the work of Jesus. His love, His grace, and finished work have made us whole. Praise Jesus!
