Pastor Prince, I developed severe IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) in middle school, and everything I ate got me very sick. The only things I could eat without getting sick were bland white rice, baked or grilled bland chicken, or plain bread. I had this horrible condition for more than thirty years. I went to many doctors and was only prescribed strong muscle-relaxing pills, which I took for more than twenty years.
After going through a divorce, I met my current wife, who introduced me to your book Destined to Reign. I had believed in Jesus from an early age, but reading the book opened my eyes to a new way of viewing Him. I realized that my healing had not manifested in the past even because I had related to Jesus on a works-based belief system.
After getting married, my wife and I went to a few different non-denominational churches and found one that is grace-based and that preaches grace and healing. My wife and I took a healing class, and through that whole time, I read Destined to Reign Devotional daily. I finally believed in my heart what Jesus was clearly teaching in the gospels—that He came to heal and love us unconditionally. Once I believed this, I was able to see a miracle in my healing.
I had worked with many doctors and specialists who could only prescribe pills and said my case would never improve. I had medical tests done that showed my case was truly extreme. I also went to a functional medicine specialist who said he wasn’t sure he could help my condition but would try. I worked with him for over six months with limited success. But once I truly believed Jesus wanted me healed, I was healed! Praise God!
I can now eat anything I want at any time of the day. Pizza, hamburgers, nuts, fruits, and veggies are no longer off limits for me because of the wonderful love of Jesus and His will that I be healed. I prayed daily over myself that by Jesus’ stripes, I am healed. I have now seen this scripture come to life! Praise Jesus!
I believe this miracle shows we can enjoy the fullness of life that Jesus wants for each of us through hearing the gospel of grace. I am now sharing this message with others and am excited about what God has planned for my future! All praise and glory to Jesus Christ, who still works miracles today, as He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow!
