Praise Report: Youth healed of anorexia and accepted into medical school

In 2017, at the age of 15, I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, an eating disorder. There was a voice that kept telling me that food was bad for me. I became so severely malnourished and underweight that my muscles lost almost all their strength. My organs were failing, and my blood pressure and pulse rate were extremely low. My mind was also filled with negative thoughts, including suicide.

When I went to the doctor, I was told that my condition was very critical. My liver enzyme level was on the rise, and the doctor told my parents that if my condition didn’t improve, I would need a liver transplant. My parents were devastated.

That night, my aunt’s family came and asked us to partake of the holy Communion together. My uncle prayed for me and that started our journey with God. My family and I started listening to Pastor Prince’s sermons and by God’s grace, I got well enough to be discharged. We also started attending New Creation Church as a family.

However, my mind was still filled with negative thoughts and I would get into arguments with my loved ones. I had to stop school for half a year due my physical condition, and could only return in 2018. Even so, I had trouble focusing during lessons. This caused my grades to go downhill. I felt very lousy and condemned.

But God never gave up on me. As I continued to listen to sermons and put my trust in Him, my miracles came—one after another. I woke up one day and the voice that kept tormenting me disappeared! From then on, I was able to eat normally. Eventually, I was healed of anorexia. My relationship with my family members began to improve. As for my studies, I managed to graduate with high distinction and was accepted into a local medical school. Praise the Lord!

God not only restored to me what I had lost, but gave me superabounding grace! This is only possible through our Lord Jesus Christ!
