I was saved two years ago at the age of 32. Jesus first saved my girlfriend’s family, then she and later, I got saved. At that time, I played drums in a metal band, was addicted to pornography and sex was a regular part of the life I led.
One of the first things Jesus did for me was to remove the pornography addiction and sexual thoughts. Later, He also removed my addiction to masturbation, something that had plagued me since I was young. I’ve been set free from this bondage for seven months now, and it is absolutely huge for me!
The next big thing that He removed from my life was a crippling fear that I had since I was a child. This fear left when the Lord gave me a revelation that He was greater than my fear.
Since turning to God, metal music in my life has been replaced with Christian music and my free time has gone into listening to the messages of Joseph Prince, which are like food to me.
