Praise Report: Received Good Results for Bar Exam

I was an attorney in my home country but moved to the United States when my husband got transferred there by his company. God had put it in my heart to take the bar examinations in New York. After years of procrastinating, I registered to sit for the exams. Despite being distracted while preparing for the papers, I achieved good success for the first two exams.

For the third and biggest exam, it was a different ballgame. I always felt like I was not studying enough. My colleagues studied twelve hours a day but I felt maxed out after about six hours. I was so worried but God kept reminding me of the blessings in Deuteronomy 28. I knew that those promises were for me because of Jesus, who has qualified me for all of God’s blessings.

After I sat for the exam, I came away concerned that I didn’t type fast enough and couldn’t finish a section. I even thought about how my seat mate for the exam was a second-time taker. But I kept declaring the promises in Deuteronomy 28 every time I didn’t feel good about the exam.

When the results were released, I passed with a score that was so high I was eligible to be transferred to all the Uniform Bar Examination (UBE) states! The law firm where I worked as a paralegal immediately made me an offer for the position of an attorney.

God did all this for me and I’m blown away. I know it was all undeserved, unmerited, and unearned. God is awesome and truly faithful!
