I received Christ at the age of fourteen but never fully understood the extent of God’s love for me. I fell into sin over and over again through my teen years, and even through university. Sin had a hold on me and I believed that I had to keep confessing my sins in order for God to forgive me. I was also unsure if God would receive me into His kingdom, as I felt unworthy.
Ever since I began listening to Pastor Prince’s messages and attending New Creation Church [in Singapore] regularly, I felt as though a blindfold has been removed from my eyes.
I achieved accolades in my job that I did not deserve. Even as a rookie, I was given the top performer award in my company that has more than 200 experienced staff.
Everyone else had better numbers and results to back them so I can only attribute this to the grace of God.
I was also previously in an unhealthy relationship with an unbeliever and prayed that God would send someone to “rescue” me. God brought me out of that relationship and I recently got baptized together with my new partner and we are looking to get married soon, with Christ as the head of our home.
I have also received many compliments since my eyes were opened to the grace of God, including co-workers asking how I keep such a happy and optimistic spirit daily. Just the other day, a stranger commented that there’s a glory that shines through my face.
I listen to Pastor Prince’s sermons every day on the way to work and back home from work, and this fills my spirit with hope, joy, and the conviction that God is for me and not against me. I understand now that I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I am able to turn away from sin by reminding myself that I am a daughter of God and that I am bought with a price, a very heavy price—the blood of Jesus Christ. I am precious and loved.
